Champions - 2008 ASA 12U B Mid-America Regional Tournament

After winning tough games against East Des Moines and Dallas Center-Grimes, Iowa SWAT played in the Championship and took 2nd at the Urbandale 4th of July Tournament.

This was the first tournament season together for the Iowa SWAT 12U Team. We are very proud of all the players' hard work and accomplishments this season!

June 2008 - Some players from the 2008 Iowa SWAT team and friends went to Topeka, KS to see the US Olympic team play in the Bound 4 Beijing tour!

We were able to stand feet away from Jennie as she did her pitching warmups, and she does include pitching long toss to her catcher from center field! So pitchers - don't skip long toss in your training!

January 2008 - Some players from the 2008 Iowa SWAT team attended the Iowa Softball Convention and met Dot Richardson - two-time Olympic Gold Medalist!
